Concentration Essentials for Focus Disorder

Living with memory loss, anxiety and scattered concentration is frustrating, for both the affected individual as well as family members, friends and teachers. Learning about the brain and its highly complicated functions can serve as a guide to understanding how to overcome this challenging bio-chemical weakness.
improving children's focus and concentration skills
Scientific studies suggest that in order to focus on outside information, some brain regions are activated, while others are inhibited. This automatic coordination of brain function fails when memory loss or cognitive thinking is not functioning properly. These types of brain processes often “hiccup” and are recognized as a difficulty in learning, hyperactivity and/or impaired judgment. There is also an inability to focus or complete tasks, forgetfulness, restless fidgeting, excessive talking or interrupting and difficulty with organizational skills. In children there can be the additional issues of constant motion and disruptive behavior.
The causes vary widely. For some it could be a genetic issue deeply rooted in their neurological pathways. In many cases, the causes are more environmental and can be attributed to diet, lifestyle, chemical imbalances, toxin overload and even allergies. Other issues that can also lead to this are neurological problems in the brain, oxygen deprivation at birth, anxiety, family history, lead poisoning, diet, and smoking by the mother during pregnancy.
Studies have shown that the consumption of sugar impedes the brain’s ability to respond to its norephinephrines, the chemical it needs in order to filter and process outside information. Other studies have reported that allergies which cause inflammation can lead to a sensory overload, where the brain receives too much information and cannot process it properly.
Different people experience different levels of severity of these issues.  Some suffer mildly and might only have difficulty paying attention. Others can suffer terrible bouts of hyperactivity and memory loss as they bounce off the walls and explode in anger.
ADHD Modern Medications Treatment
There is no “cure” for ADHD, however, many treatment approaches may alleviate or significantly decrease ADHD symptoms. As a result, improvements are evident in school/work performance, relationships with others improve, and self esteem increases.
Stimulant medications have been found to be effective in alleviating ADHD symptoms. The most common stimulants are methylphenidate (Ritalin, Concerta, Metadate-ER) and amphetamine (Dexedrine, Dexedrine Spansules, Adderall and Adderall XR.). Some people respond better to one kind of stimulant and not another.
How To Improve Your Child's Concentration
Many think Ritalin (methylphenidate) is safe, or mild, because so many children use it. However, the government classifies the psychoactive drug with cocaine and morphine because it is highly addictive. Ritalin should not be used in children under six years, since safety and efficacy in this age group have not been established. Sufficient data on safety and efficacy of long-term use of Ritalin in children are not yet available.
Although a causal relationship has not been established, suppression of growth (i.e., weight gain, and/or height) has been reported with the long-term use of stimulants in children. Therefore, patients requiring long-term therapy should be carefully monitored. In children, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, weight loss during prolonged therapy, insomnia, and tachycardia [rapid heart rate] may occur more frequently; however, any of the other adverse reactions listed above may also occur.

The Natural Approach to Reducing Hyperactivity & Attention Problems. It considers diet, lifestyle, personality type and environment. Alternative medicine helps individuals combine a healthy lifestyle with a healthy diet including reduced sugar consumption and the elimination of stimulants. Herbal remedies strive to help the body reach an improved state of overall health to alleviate unwanted issues.
Concentration Essentials is an all natural, non-addictive herbal formula painstakingly developed by a leading naturopathic doctor. Concentration Essentials has been used for years to deal with focus and behavior issues. This is not a new product and Naturopathic doctors have been using this formula for 3 decades. It is an extremely effective option for people who insist on taking a natural approach with their body.
In North America it’s rather common.  In fact these types of issues affect an estimated 5% of school-aged children. It’s also been observed that it can run in families. It’s been reported that boys with these traits outnumber girls by at least a three to one margin.
Are these issues reversible?
Every person’s body has a genetic code within their cellular structure. Like a finger print, a person’s genetic code is unique to them and only their body. For adults and children who suffer from these issues there is hope. By not allowing outside influences like; bacteria and allergies, chemicals and toxins, stimulants, as well as, dangerous dietary foods like sugars, preservatives and toxic foods that contain chemicals, adults and children can control how their body reacts, functions and behaves.
Looking at the entire body from a Holistic view, there may be a tendency in a person’s genetic code that leans towards focus and behavior problems. Stabilizing the body and its internal/external environment makes it possible to recover and lead a productive issue free life. In combination with good health, proper diet and toxic free living conditions, its possible to discourage the onset or continuation of these issues. By avoiding the things that set the body into motion to experience neurological dysfunction, a person chooses to keep their body in a safety zone. The addition of natural supplements that can help support the body is key to making this safety zone a reality zone.
What does Concentration Essentials do and how does it work?
Concentration Essentials has been painstakingly formulated by Naturopathicphysicians as a whole body approach to help with poor focus and concentration. Each herb has a specialized function and the combination of these six herbs makes this a wonderful supplement that supports the body and encourages the brain to function properly.
  • Skullcap has been reported to kill bacteria and viruses and is often used to help with allergies and anxiety.
  • Fu Ling, also called China Root promotes healthy body fluids by regulating water through its ability to drain dampness by promoting urination. Through proper fluid retention, this herb also has been known to reduce swelling.
  • Ginseng was traditionally used to curb emotions, stop agitation, enlighten the mind and increase wisdom. Today it’s commonly used to improve cognitive abilities, memory, attention, concentration and the general ability to cope.
  • Ginkgo is widely known to increase the body’s production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the compound and main source for energy at the cellular level. This herb can boost the brain’s metabolism of glucose for energy and can also increase electrical activity. Ginkgo promotes blood flow to the brain and helps to elevate the brains oxygen levels improving synaptic transmissions within the brain. It also promotes healthy thought processes like increased memory, mental sharpness and concentration while increasing coping skills in daily life.
  • Gui Zhi also known as Cinnamon Twig is known to feed the body by promoting the healthy flow of blood.
  • Da Zao, derived from the sweet date fruit, is used in traditional Chinese medicine to calm the spirit and tonify Qi while it nourishes the blood.
