Primary And Secondary Hypertension

Hypertension is a common condition, as is generally said that the hypertension experienced by one person among ten people. Hypertension was initially depend on genetic factors. On the way to adulthood, many influential environmental factors, such as dietary factors and psychological / stress.
Know the primary and secondary hypertension and to prevent
Food is an important determinant of blood pressure such as excess consumption of fatty foods, salt, due to alcohol consumption, and low potassium intake. Patients who come to doctors generally have severe, because it did not know he suffered from hypertension. So, it is very important blood pressure checked regularly.
14./90 blood pressure (systolic / diastolic) mm Hg or more, indicates that we have hypertension. A healthy blood pressure was 120/80 mm Hg. If the blood pressure of 120/80 mm Hg and 139/89 mm Hg, twice the risk of developing a hypertension. Hypertension or high blood pressure is one of the important health problems. Once hypertension was found in a lot of people of various ages.
The list of types of Hypertension mentioned in various sources includes:
Primary hypertension, there is no real cause but may be derived or associated with unhealthy lifestyle, fast-paced and easy it is irregular or hypertension that occur together with increasing age, stress, and heredity, commonly known as primary hypertension.
Usually middle-aged patients were aged (30-50 years). Ninety percent of people with hypertension in this category. Bad behavior, like smoking, lack of exercise, like salty foods and fast foods, eating excessive calories which contains a lot of salt, sweet, spicy, and obesity, contribute to the emergence of hypertension.
Secondary hypertension, patients with younger age (below 30 years), influenced by factors related to physical conditions, such as excess weight, impaired renal function, impaired hormonal balance, excess cholesterol, the pill and others.
Both types of hypertension above do not show obvious symptoms, but if the symptoms are not anticipated to be dangerous can cause hypertension with symptoms of chronic headaches. In general, hypertension is not dangerous, but if ignored and cause complications of hypertension prone to heart attacks, heart failure, even in a short time will cause a stroke.
In extreme high blood pressure can damage the inside of the small arteries, may cause blood clots. If this happens, it can cause a heart attack (if it occurs in the heart), blindness (if it occurs in the retina of the eye), kidney failure (if thrombosis occurs in the kidney), and stroke (when blood clots occur in the brain). Stroke can also occur due to rupture of blood vessels caused by hypertension resulting in bleeding in the brain.
It is important to limit fatty foods and increase foods high in fiber, especially fruits, vegetables, and vegetable foods. Flaxseed oil and food abundant potassium, calcium, magnesium, vitamin C and omega-3 is very good for people with hypertension.

8 Common Causes of Bad Breath

This is a very important thing for us to know. Breath odor is the scent of the air you breathe out of your mouth, affecting their social space and even cause a sense inferior to face with someone. Do not let the couple lose appeal to you because of bad breath. Mouth odor is a problem that annoying, embarrassing and can cause loss of confidence, then immediately find out the cause and find a solution.
Common Causes of Bad Breath - Reduce Your Mouth Odor
Values of pH in the oral cavity is generally 6.5, if the value was increased in number or containing other materials, will change to alkaline and cause foul odors, especially the pH value reached 7.2 upwards, will further encourage the growth of negative bacteria Granstrom, allowing the decomposition of protein releasing foul smell, especially if the released volatile sulfide will be more severe bad breath. Then, when dry mouth or swallowing exercise less easily cause halitosis. People who have problems of bad breath (halitosis) is generally not realized there was a disturbance, until someone is brave enough to disclose. Then thank the friends who want to be honest, they are true friends who did not plunge.
Actually there is an easy way to test the scent of mouth. Press a clean finger into the mouth and saliva swabs in the back of the tongue. Let stand a few moments and then kiss your fingertips. Does it smell like you smell? Tongue bacteria produce odor compounds and fatty acids, which represents 80-90% of the causes of bad breath. The healthy human mouth is home to a variety of microbes, including viruses, fungi, protozoa, and bacteria.
Garlic or foods with a sharp odor is not the only cause of bad breath. If the cause of bad breath is not due to respiratory or digestive disease, then efforts to overcome it can be done with dental hygiene and environmental health and mouth. There are seven other causes of bad breath that must be known.
Bad Breath Treatment - Reduce Your Mouth Odor
The problem in the area around the tooth, such as gum disease, tooth decay or tartar, could make the breath smell so. In addition, disruption of other diseases that are suffered can also spread to the mouth odor. Ranging from respiratory infections, salivary gland disorders, digestive disorders, chronic bronchitis, sinusitis, until diabetes. Do not miss the habit of the less healthy. For example the wrong diet, smoking, frequent constipation and heartburn, or consumption of alcohol.
1. Bacterium
The mouth is probably one of the preferred bacteria. Microorganism was hiding in between the teeth and tongue surface. When these bacteria multiply and accumulate that they will spend less toxic and smells delicious.
2. Tonsil
Hole in the inside of the tonsils (tonsillectomy) is called the crypts, is one culprit halitosis. At the dots in the tonsil tissue swollen lymph often tucked away leftover food and germs that cause odor.
3. Pungent foods
Foods such as garlic, durian, or fish, also cause bad breath, even though we’ve been brushing my teeth. When we chew food of this kind, our blood will absorb the smell of oil, took it to the lungs, and then release the body through the breath until we are finished processing (which can last between 2-3 days).
4. Dental problems
Leftover food particles can also cause bad odor. The smell of the mouth can also be caused by sulfur content no matter when the process of digestion, not always depending on the type of food. That is, the smell of the mouth occurs when we are not awake oral hygiene. In the recesses of your mouth, whether it’s in between teeth or in between the ears of the tongue, if not cleaned, can rot and cause bad breath.
5. Stomach Trouble
Sometimes the disturbance in the stomach or intestines can cause bad breath, especially when burping. Low-carbohydrate diets also cause ketosis, burning fat in the body that cause bad dragon.
6. Disease
Bad breath can also be a sign of diseases such as respiratory tract infections, chronic sinus infections, diabetes, kidney disorders, liver, and chronic acid reflux. Problems in ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat). Normally, when body condition was not fit, and the weather was uncertain, there is a feeling of warm breath and heavier than usual. Some say it is hot or not cold. Actually, it is a condition when there is a kind of sinus infection in the flow of breath to flow back of the throat and creates unpleasant smells. Throat infection also has the potential to create unpleasant breath, such as upper respiratory infections a problem that makes us cough with phlegm and runny nose.
7. Dry mouth
Lack of drinking water and a dry mouth is also a contributor to the cause of bad breath problems. That’s why, when I wake up in the morning less savory smell of our mouths. The smell is usually gone after we brush teeth and drink water.
8. Cigarettes and alcohol
Smoking causes dryness of the mouth, the result will cause bad breath. You could smell cigarette smoke every time his mouth opened. Alcohol reduces the production of saliva, which would aggravate the bad breath and an overall dangerous for your general health.

Renovascular Hypertension

Renal hypertension is high blood pressure due to narrowing of the arteries that carry blood to the kidneys, is a form of what is called secondary hypertension, which is hypertension caused by another condition in the body.Renovascular disease is one of the most common causes of curable hypertension but accounts for < 2% of all cases of hypertension.
Renovascular hypertension a high blood pressure caused by decreased blood flow to the kidneys
Its occurs more often in white men and blacks of both sexes. It occurs in approximately 10 out of 100,000 people. Age of onset depends upon the cause of damage to the kidney blood vessels. It often occurs in men over the age of 45 with atherosclerosis, and in women under the age of 45 with fibromuscular dysplasia. Around 10% of children with fibromuscular dysplasia also develop renovascular hypertension.
Renal  hypertension denotes the causal relationship between anatomically evident arterial occlusive disease and elevated blood pressure. When the arteries that carry blood to your kidneys become narrow because of atherosclerosis, which causes plaque deposits to collect in the renal artery, and fibromuscular dysplasia, in which cells from the artery wall overgrow and narrow the artery, less blood flows to the kidneys. The kidneys mistakenly respond as if your blood pressure is low and give off hormones that tell the body to hold on to more salt and water.
arteries supplying the kidneys renal artery stenosis
The response, the kidney produces a protein called renin. When renin is released into the bloodstream, it ends up being converted into an enzyme that makes the body retain sodium (salt) and constricts the arterioles, which causes the symptoms of renovascular hypertension. This causes your blood pressure to rise.
When renovascular hypertension is caused by a blood clot in a renal artery, the patient will usually have a sudden pain in the side and bloody urine.  Renovascular hypertension can lead to many serious complications, including hypertensive heart disease, stroke, blindness, myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, blood vessel damage, kidney damage, and kidney failure. Techniques have been developed todiagnose renal hypertension using digital image processing of radiographs. Treatment may involve angioplasty and stenting of the renal arteries. The syndrome may be related to other diseases of the epithelium.
High blood pressure caused by narrowing of the arteries that lead to the kidneys (renovascular hypertension) is often difficult to control. There are a variety of high blood pressure medications available. Nitroprusside, labetalol, or calcium antagonists  are generally effective in lowering blood pressure acutely, although inhibitors of the RAA axis [e.g., ACE inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs)] are most effective long-term treatment, if disease is not bilateral.
Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) is recommended for most patients, including younger patients with fibromuscular dysplasia of the renal artery. Cure rate is 90% in appropriately selected patients; surgical mortality rate is <  1%. Medical treatmentis always preferable to nephrectomy in young patients whose kidneys cannot be revascularized for technical reasons.

Why We Need Detox

Learn why we need to detoxify our body periodically and how to detox safely. One of the biggest causes of tokxemia of the intestine is the habit of consuming excessive food cooked or processed, ie foods that do not have the enzyme again. Also eating habits of more acid-forming foods, ie protein, starch, fat. Too much eating the food sources of protein (animal), starch, and fat body resulted in acidosis, ie acidic conditions of excessive blood and body tissues.
Why you need to detoxify our body for optimal health
Acidosis can cause inflammation in various tissues in the body, causing blood beads attached to each other, or the formation of fine network of fibers (fibrin) in the blood. Network of fibers that gives the impression as if the blood becomes concentrated. These fibers cause the circulation of blood cells is interrupted, so the supply of food substances and oxygen to the cells of other tissues inhibited.
The reason why almost all of our society suffer from intestinal problems, in addition to stress and lack of exercise, especially in the diet. Our digestive system was originally designed to digest fruits and vegetables, but now we eat is protein-rich foods (meat, fish, chicken, cheese, eggs). Stomach or digestive tract includes the organs that became the first source of various diseases. Less good digestive system is very influential for the health and prone to cause many diseases. Usually, the gut flora is managed by the fresh and natural food products, but through the use of preservatives and processed foods, quality darmfloara retreat. Since all types of bacteria in the gut microflora to the implant and the characters will change, there are operations such as indigestion flatulence, constipation, chronic diarrhea and increased susceptibility to infection.
Of the many cultures and traditions is known that a healthy colon is a prerequisite for good health. Modern science also agrees with this view. A healthy colon is much better than just a small bowel movement. keep the colon clean make disposal of the toxin to work smoothly. The easiest way to make the colon to work optimally with a diet rich in fiber which consists of fruit, fresh vegetables or high fiber foods.
The extra fiber can help streamline and expedite the colon work to make the disposal of toxins from the body. More and more toxin is wasted, the more our body healthy too. The function of the intestines to absorb food nutrients to the body will terhmbat when this happens. If this is left too long, then the body will be more susceptible to interference. The body will be in a state of acidosis condition.
Exploring the issue of detoxing and maintaining a healthy body
An intestinal flora disturbance leads to poor digestion, causing fermentation and decay. This allows toxins to penetrate the body. This can cause an excess of toxins from the liver and digestive problems which then can lead to fatigue, eczema, allergies, constipation or diarrhea, headaches and migraines, nervous, respiratory diseases and degenerative diseases. It is very debilitating the immune system and there is increased susceptibility to recurrent infections.
There are many factors that could cause our intestinal flora imbalance:
  • Excessive consumption of refined products like white flour, sugar and alcohol
  • Excessive consumption of animal protein such as milk and meat products
  • Excessive consumption of foods containing artificial additives such as color, flavor and fragrance and preservatives.
  • Too fast, eat too much and not enough chewing
  • Antibiotics, preparations sulfate, adrenal hormones (cortisol, etc)
  • Infection by bacteria and / or mushrooms
  • Regular use / long-term anti-asthma inhalers and laxatives
The early symptoms of acidosis: frequent headaches, asthma, sinusitis, allergic easy, frequent coughs, colds, acne, boils, eczema, vaginal discharge, unpleasant breath odor, foul-smelling sweat often sore muscles and joints, chronic lethargic, and overweight.
The more healthy gut is the better organ function spending too toxic (colon) and detoxifying organs (liver). Securities in the can of this is to reduce or eliminate the symptoms of contamination of the body (chronic runny nose, headache, rash, acne, bad skin, liver dysfunction, digestive problems, hormonal imbalances, weight electrosmog, PMS, difficulty concentrating, etc.).

Malignant Hypertension A hypertensive Emergency Condition

Malignant hypertension is usually defined as very high blood pressure with swelling of the optic nerve behind the eye, called papilledema (grade IV Keith-Wagner hypertensive retinopathy). This type of hypertension is more common in people with kidney problems such as narrowed kidney blood vessels.  The lower (diastolic) blood pressure reading, which is normally around 80 mmHg, is often above 130 mmHg.
Malignant hypertension is a sudden and rapid development of extremely high blood pressure
Malignant hypertension is usually accompanied by other organ damage like heart failure, kidney failure, and hypertensive encephalopathy. The disorder affects about 1% of people with high blood pressure, including both children and adults. It is more common in younger adults, especially African American men. It also occurs in women with toxemia of pregnancytoxemia of pregnancy, and persons with kidney disorders or collagen vascular disordersvascular disorders. Like high blood pressure in general, the exact cause of malignant hypertension is not completely understood.
The kidneys are especially sensitive to increases in blood pressure and permanent kidney damage is a common complication of untreated malignant hypertension. You are at high risk for malignant hypertension if you have had kidney failure or renal hypertension caused by renal artery stenosis. Malignant hypertension is a medical emergency. Many body systems are in serious risk due to the extreme elevation of blood pressure.
Malignant Hypertension fact:
  • Alternative Names: Accelerated hypertension; Arteriolar nephrosclerosis; Nephrosclerosis – arteriolar; Hypertension – malignant
  • Younger patients are at higher risk than older patients, which is the opposite of the risk profile for essential hypertension
  • Those of African heritage are at higher risk
  • Anyone with a history of kidney failure or a disease called renal artery stenosis (narrowing of arteries in the kidney) has a greatly increased risk
  • Pregnant women with gestational hypertension, or women experiencing certain pregnancy related complications (toxemia of pregnancy) appear to have an increased risk
Malignant Hypertension Symptoms Include:
  • Blurry vision
  • Chest pain
  • Seizure
  • Decreased urine output
  • Weakness or strange tingling/numbness in the arms, legs, or face
  • Headache
  • Shortness of breath
Multiple organs of the body, including the brain, eyes, blood vessels, heart, and kidneys may sustain damage. The blood vessels of the kidney are highly susceptible to damage caused by pressure, and kidney failure may develop, which may be permanent. You willneed to stay in the hospital until the severe high blood pressure is under control. Medications will be given through a vein to reduce your blood pressure. Depending on how serious the problem is in a particular patient, admission to the Intensive Care Unit(ICU) may be required. If there is fluid in your lungs, you will be given medicines called diuretics, which help the body remove fluid. Your doctor will consider giving you medications to protect the heart if there is evidence of heart damage.?

Foods That Make You Sleepy

Maybe you are not conscious after lunch in the office of your eyes can not withstand and so sleepy, if it were so the concentration of jobs will be lost. At 2 pm, when the people in his office is busy completing a pile of work, Catherine (24) instead busy looking for ways to relievesleepiness. Catherine’s eyes as if not willing to compromise, from the look on his face it was obvious that Catherine sleepy.
Foods that make you sleepy after lunch
After several times evaporated, Catherine wiped her eyes are watery and feels heavy. Once tortured Catherine, Catherine eventually have to give up on a cup of coffee. Coffee is the only one helper for Catherine to dispel sleepiness.
Drowsiness is usually felt just after lunch was also experienced by many people. Not only was Catherine the career woman, mother, housewife too much could not help feeling sleepy after eating a meal. Despite a full stomach but the eye so unfriendly and ultimately degrade the performance of the body and frequent yawning. What cause? Is there something wrong with your lunch menu?
Basically the food is a source of energy for the body, but there are also some who just suck the energy intake and body make a person drowsy and limp. Food coma is triggered by the body’s systems work metabolime who work extra hard. Our body can be likened to extract food processing machines. If the food we consume a huge amount, and the body we will work hard. In addition, food coma was also triggered by low sugar levels in the body. As a result, the body feels tired and sleepy.
Foods that rank high on the Glycemic Index will help you fall asleep in half the time you normally do
For that, when dining must be adapted to the body’s biorhythms. From the research result shows that the food coma attacks often occur in the following hours:
at 10.00 which is 2 hours after breakfast
at 14.00 which is 2 hours after lunch
at 16.00 which is 4 or 5 hours before dinner
Try to remember what your lunch menu, is it true cause drowsiness comes from the food you eat? Lest all this time you often slepybecause too often consume foods that actually suck the energy of your body. Consider the following foods:
Sweet foods
Reduce consumption of sugary foods like candy, because it could rapidly increase the level of insulin which then increases levels of serotonin in the brain. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter which causes drowsiness. For lunch, choose foods that contain high protein, low carbohydrate, and vegetables. If you eat sweet foods? This is one reason why you are more likely to yawn after lunch. Sweet foods containing sugar and carbohydrates that are needed by the body to increase energy, but can also come down quickly. Now a decrease in blood sugar can cause the body to be drastically weak and often evaporate.

Food Makes Me Sleepy After Lunch

Foods that rank high on the Glycemic Index will help you fall asleep in half the time you normally do if eaten four hours before bed. Usually, the reason for being sleepy after lunch is carbohydrate overeating. Increase in the relative concentration of L-tryptophan and serotonin in the blood that formed to make us sleepy. Keeping your carbs down until you are ready to be sleepy helped a lot of people.
reason for being sleepy after lunch is carbohydrate overeating
High protein low carb
L-Tryptophan is an amino acid into the formation of the basic ingredients niacin, vitamin B Niacin itself will be used to make serotonin, a substance in the brain signals conductor can be feeling uncomfortable and cause us to fall asleep. Carbohydrate-rich foods such as rice, will stimulate the pancreas to produce insulin, which will keep food in the body. Several other amino acid which was contained in the blood together with L-Tryptophan, will enter into muscle cells. As a result, there will be an increase in the relative concentration of L-tryptophan and serotonin in the blood that formed to make us sleepy.
Fat
Although the body needs a certain amount of fat, real fat is a foreign substance that should be removed from the body. Everyone knows if body fat is very difficult to digest. Unfortunately, fat is not wasted be toxic because of the oxidation process. This oxidation process can also cause cancer and tumors.
Fat digestion process could take six to eight hours. Well that happens, the body requires more energy to run through these phases, then do not be surprised if the body feels tired and sleepy. Moreover, too much fat that rolled into the digestive tract will enhance the levels of cholesterol, trigliseride, and narrow the blood vessels to the brain, resulting in less blood flow smoothly and we often yawn to compensate oxygen supply less to the brain, another result is heart disease.
Iron deficiency
Zinc is a mineral that has been widely neglected for its important functions toward our bodily enzymes. It has been shown in many studies that this micronutrient is involved in the proper functioning of more than three hundred enzymes. So if the body will feel weak if the substance is one drawback to this is indisputable. Some tests have shown that zinc enhances memory and thinking.
Everything you need to know about why food makes you sleepy
In addition, for individuals who have suffered head injuries that involve memory loss, zinc supplementation has contributed to recovery. Iron is the substance of energy and calories are useful to the body. Is there to be sufficient intake of iron in your lunch menu?
How to anticipate tips food coma?
  • Try not to eat large portions.
  • Choose foods with high carbohydrate content.
  • In the hours after a meal, try to consume a high protein snack. There is no need in large numbers as long as your stomach is still in a state filled.
  • Choose foods with low fat content, because it certainly is rich in sugar content.
  • In between the time before a meal, do not hesitate to eat candy. Choose candy labeled low fat.
